Last week’s Vinyl Collectiv Vol. 2 was so much fun !!
Originally I was nervous about hosting two meetups in one month, but you all proved it was the right move.
We had a full house and our live vinyl sets from Mr. JayToo & Marc Davis really elevated the evening. The energy in the room felt like a true community!
People traded records, shared stories, and danced together.
Every meetup keeps getting bigger, and it’s clear this city is ready to keep vinyl culture alive. Excited to keep building with you all and can’t wait for what’s next.

We’re so excited to announce our first collab with one of our fav Chicago record stores !!
For Vol. 3 on Thursday September 18 we’re teaming up with Miyagi Records in Hyde Park
Miyagi Records was founded by DJs Nigel Ridgeway and Marco Jacobo during the pandemic as a pop up shop inspired by Tokyo's vinyl store.
The name “Miyagi” comes from Japanese kanji meaning shrine and fortress, reflecting their mission to preserve and protect music culture
It’s conveniently located right off the L stop
