this week’s vinyl of the week is

genesis by wendy & bonnie

this dreamy cult classic floats through psych-pop landscapes with soft harmonies and delicate instrumentation.

released in 1969, genesis was recorded when wendy was 17 and bonnie just 13 yet the album feels remarkably mature, layered with themes of longing, wonder, and coming of age.

from tracks like “by the sea” to “let yourself go another time,” it's a rare gem that captures the soulful curiosity of youth in the late ‘60s.
