hey friends!!

my name is virginia and i’m a vinyl lover bringing real people together in chicago through great records.

i moved to chicago in 2023 after spending years in la, where vibrant vinyl communities were everywhere. from record meetups to dj sets and street fairs, there was always a place to connect with people through analog music.

but when i got to chicago, that kind of space was hard to find.

so I decided to try and build it myself.

our first chicago meetup vol 1. is happening on thursday august 14th in west loop. bring a favorite record, share the story behind it, and connect with fellow music lovers over bites and drinks.

the first gathering is completely sold out!!! (thank you sm), but don’t worry….

promise is a timeless 1985 record full of soul, softness, and sultry sounds.

my favorite track? "Maureen.” it’s a heartfelt tribute to a childhood friend that closes the album with warmth and rhythm.

sade's voice is velvet and her storytelling is underrated.
